E-bike makers push speed-reduction updates after California’s stricter new laws
California earlier this month Approved new regulations For electric bikes that lead to a more severe speed limit on electronic bicycles with the throttle. At that time, it was not clear how electric bike makers respond to new regulations, but now we are starting to see at least one manufacturer trying to take over their existing electronic bicycles owned by California residents.
The new rules of ambiguity in the classification of Class 2/Class 3 eliminate the bike. Previously, many electronic bicycles were designed depending on the demands of the owner in each category. Such bicycles can work as a Class 2 electronic bike that reach a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour (32 km / h), or as a Class 3 electronic bike that help at 28 mph (45 km / h) on the pedal.
In fact, the overwhelming majority of Class 3 electronic bicycles sold in the United States used this design and offered a combination of performance as the Electronic Class 2 and Class 3 electronic bike.

Electrical catch
This is an interesting approach, as it represents a specialized understanding that the responsibility of each of its electronic bikes that is currently on the road that is now not compatible with the new law is responsible.

And if we are honest, these are not even electronic bicycles at the heart of the problem. Most of the California residents are most concerned about teens who pour sidewalks into electronic bicycles in motor -style, not local mothers and fathers who are riding on their luxurious cargo bicycles who have recently performed hybrid 2.2.
