Split Allow you to use your existing credit card to split your purchase into smaller numbers of payments over 3 months. At the time of purchase, there will be two transactions on your card. Win the first payment and then a temporary hold- this one is not a payment but rather a pre-authorization that guarantees the purchase.
When choosing Splitit as a payment option, you will need the full purchase amount available as credit on your credit card. After the first installment is charged at the time of purchase, split will charge your credit card monthly until the plan is completed, according to the selected payment plan. There is no additional interest or fees, and you get all the benefits of paying with your credit card, including rewards, transaction insurance, and fraud protection.
